Red rose with dark maroon petals, digital painting

About this artwork

A glowing red core draws the eye at the heart of this rose, its dark maroon outer petals curling around it like a deep velvet shell. The petals are built from loose, overlapping brushstrokes in soft digital paint, with pale highlights on the center and thin green leaves on a sturdy stem.
