Interlocking faces in black ink, pen drawing

About this artwork

Faces fold into one oval, their eyes and profiles pressed together inside a dense maze of black lines, while white stripes burst out from the top and bottom. Built from fine pen hatching and curving contour lines on white paper, with the white areas left open so the figures read against the solid black background.
