Elf girl with hair bun and hairpins, pencil sketch

About this artwork

Heavy-lidded eyes and a calm, direct stare make this elf girl feel quietly self-assured, framed by a high bun pierced with two hairpins. Soft graphite shading in short strokes builds the bangs and braids, while the dark pools under the eyes and the sparkle shapes around her head add contrast on a warm tan paper.
