Face in profile sketch, charcoal

About this artwork

A narrowed eye sits under a heavy, slanting brow while hair sweeps back in fast strokes, catching a sharp sideways glare. Loose charcoal lines and soft hatching on white paper build the shadows and let the edges fade into the blank background.
