Phalaenopsis orchid branch drawing, graphite pencil

About this artwork

Two large phalaenopsis blooms open among buds on a arching stem, their petals shaded with fine radiating vein lines. The soft gray gradient and dark throats give the flowers depth, while the thin wiry stems are drawn with confident contour lines.
