Pair of cherries with a leaf, pencil drawing

About this artwork

Two glossy cherries hang from one stem, their bright highlights standing out against soft grey shading. The leaf is hatched with fine pencil veins, and the cast shadow beneath the fruit is built up in light layers on smooth paper.
