Flame-colored feather wing, digital painting

About this artwork

Fiery feathers fan out from a bright white quill-shaped core, with curling tips at the lower right that look like they are catching the wind. Built from loose, fast digital strokes in orange, red and dark crimson on a black background, with the white center left almost bare for contrast.
