Pen sketch of a figure with a hat and a bold X across the face, ink on lined paper

About this artwork

The wide X of crossed strokes slashes over the hat and face, turning the head into a jagged, tense mask. Built from dense cross-hatching and loose pen scribbles on lined notebook paper, with heavy black shadows on the shoulders.
