Man reading a book in an armchair, pencil sketch

About this artwork

A bespectacled man sprawls across a sofa, one leg kicked up and his head bent over an open book, caught in a relaxed, absorbed pose. Loose graphite strokes shade the jacket folds and trousers while bold black outlines define the sofa frame and the cuffed shoes.
