Ballerina balancing on a stack of skulls in a head profile, ink and watercolor

About this artwork

A ballerina poses on tiptoe at the top of a column of skulls that rises through the outline of a profile, a quiet image of fragile happiness. Fine ink lines and the red outline are combined with soft watercolor washes of pink and gray on the skulls and the tutu.
