Reptile eye with vertical slit pupil, digital painting

About this artwork

A glowing amber eye with a thin black slit pupil stares out from a swirl of green, as if something reptilian is watching from deep in the foliage. Soft digital brushwork builds the iris with radiating fibers and a bright highlight, while blurred green strokes and specks of light form the swirling background.
