Palm tree and sunset over the sea, pencil drawing

About this artwork

A pale round sun hangs over a calm sea, its reflection breaking into soft horizontal strokes beneath a leaning palm tree at the left edge. The scene is drawn in graphite pencil with dark ink-like outlines on the palm fronds and rocks, and soft shading in the sky and water.
