Feather drawing in pencil

About this artwork

A large feather fills the page, its soft barbs lifting at the tips while two smaller feathers float beside it and a faint winged figure sits in the corner. Built up with fine graphite strokes that follow the direction of the barbs, with darker shading along the central shaft and light left on the paper for highlights.
