Three orange slices on a plate, watercolor painting

About this artwork

Three juicy orange wedges are arranged on a pale plate, each one glowing against the soft yellow wash behind them. The paper is covered in loose, translucent layers of orange, yellow and grey, with tiny pale dashes marking the pulp and a thin grey outline for the rim of the plate.
