Side view nose study in graphite, soft grey shading

About this artwork

Sharp dark nostril shadows and a bright highlight on the tip pull the eye across this profile nose, which rises into a long soft bridge. Built up with blended grey strokes in digital graphite, with darker contour lines defining the nostril wing and the lower edge.
