Side view nose study, grayscale charcoal sketch

About this artwork

Soft gray washes build a strong profile nose, with the dark shadow under the nostril and a bright highlight on the tip catching the eye. The form is shaded with blended layers of digital brush strokes, leaving the paper edges pale and the contour sharpened with a dark line.
