Realistic eye drawing, digital painting

About this artwork

A large grey iris with a sharp white catchlight draws the eye straight into the portrait-close view, framed by dark, feathery lashes. Soft beige washes build the skin around it, while fine dark strokes sketch the lashes and iris rays over a smooth digital base.
